What we collect

Google Analytics 4 — when permitted (see "Cookies & consent" below) we use GA4 to count visits and understand which pages are used. GA4 collects approximate geography, device class, pages viewed, and sets first-party cookies (_ga family) processed by Google in line with Google's privacy policy.

Browser local storage — your bookmarks and section expand/collapse preferences are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted off your browser.

Service providers

Google — provides Google Analytics, as described above.

Cloudflare — hosts the website and processes request metadata (including IP address, briefly) for content delivery, abuse prevention, and security. Their handling is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies & consent

Visitors in the EU, UK, EEA, and Switzerland see a consent banner on first visit. Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set until the visitor explicitly clicks "Accept." Clicking "Decline" suppresses Google Analytics for as long as the preference remains stored on your device. Your choice is saved in browser localStorage (key cookieConsent.decision); clearing site data resets it.

Visitors elsewhere may opt out at any time using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Geolocation for the consent banner is performed at the edge using your IP's country code only — no precise location is stored or shared.

Your rights

California (CCPA / CPRA): right to know, access, and delete personal information collected about you. Because this site has no user database, the only personal data tied to you is held by Google Analytics — exercise these rights via the GA opt-out add-on or by emailing us.

EU / UK (GDPR / UK GDPR): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Same opt-out and email paths apply.

Data retention

Google Analytics 4 retains user-level data for 14 months by default before automatic deletion. Browser localStorage persists until you clear it. We do not maintain any backend store of personal data.
